Introducing the 1-Day Platinum Pass: 10 players for 24 hours

Photo Werewolf now has a 1-Day Platinum Pass 🎉

It’s a one-time ¥500 purchase. For 24 hours after you use it, you play on the same terms as the Platinum Plan. It isn’t a subscription, so nothing is billed monthly and there’s nothing to cancel.

Ten players and as many games as you want, on the day you meet up

On the free plan, a village holds up to 4 players and you can play 2 games a day. That falls short when five or more people show up, or when you want to keep going. And signing up for a monthly plan for one get-together a month is overkill.

One pass from the host covers everyone

Village size, the number of games and ads all depend on the plan of whoever created the village (the host).

How to use it

Tap “Use a 1-Day Platinum Pass” on the Village Rules screen

Player counts 5 through 10 show a lock when you create a village. Tapping a locked count opens the same screen.

Tap “Buy for ¥500 and use now” and pay

You’ll go to the checkout page. Once you’ve paid, you’re sent back to where you were, and the pass is already active.

Pick the number of players and create the village

The locks are gone, and you can choose up to 10. The time left on your pass is shown at the top of the screen.

Buy one ahead of time

Choose “Buy now, use later” on the purchase screen, and the pass goes into My Items. You can use it on any day within 3 months of purchase.

On the day, open the same screen from Village Rules and tap “Use my 1-Day Platinum Pass.” Buy one before the weekend, and nobody has to wait on a checkout page once everyone has arrived.

After 24 hours, you go back to your usual plan

The pass ends 24 hours after you use it, and you go back to the plan you had before. You can’t pause it or carry leftover time over to another day. You also can’t stack passes: if you own several, you can use the next one only after the current one runs out.

If you get together once or twice a month, the pass is all you need. If you meet 3 or more times a month and 8 players are enough, the Gold Plan is cheaper. If you play with 10 people 7 or more times a month, the Platinum Plan is.
